Today's prompt is letter to self (younger/older).
Dear Older Self,
If you're waiting for a pat on your back..here you go! Each day comes with its own challenges, but I like the motto you have chosen to live by: bring it on life.
It's amazing how you have grown to smile through the tears, keep patience when patience and you were never the best of friends, and oh my god! need I mention, how you have learnt to fight your fears and march forward.
Even though your kids and hubby mean the world to you, you still believe in quality 'ME' time and don't feel guilty about it. I know many are taking cues from you. And keep channelizing your inner energy with your most treasured women friends.
You look young and that short salt/pepper hair of yours makes you stand out in the crowd. and need I mention your neatly drapped cotton sarees . Classic!
You have every right to feel content after all the kids are now all grown up and independent individuals, capable of looking for themselves. No wonder, they love coming back to this cosy home that is so warm and welcoming. Job well done, Mr. and Mrs.
It's sweet that you still blush when your hubby compliments you and whispers sweet nothings to your ear! Come on, it's been what, 35 years already?
Keep the spirit alive and spread the positivity wherever you go! After all, that's what you always wanted to do, isn't it?
Always with you,
